How Your Attitude Toward Kidney Disease Can Either Make or Break You
Hi, this is Robert Galarowicz, founder of which is all about helping people treat their chronic kidney disease naturally. In Chronic Kidney Disease, too often we focus more on the ‘concrete’ stuff, devoting ourselves to the critically important why’s, who’s and how’s of treatment and the steps we need to put into motion to get well again.

Unfortunately, even with access to top-of-the-line doctors, premium medicines and the like, you won’t get very far if you neglect this one tremendously important aspect of kidney disease…attitude. The grim reality is that being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease or any chronic illness for that matter is a singularly difficult, depressing and incredibly draining life experience that no one should ever have to go through.

Kidney disease can knock the wind out of your proverbial sails and make you want to give up completely, if this is your frame of mind though, you won’t be able to fight back, which is what you absolutely NEED to do! What do I mean by having the ‘right’ attitude? I don’t mean you won’t ever face days of sadness and feeling down about things, but the important thing is that you don’t settle into those feelings and remain there.

You need to view yourself as your own greatest kidney health advocate because honestly, no one’s going to have your best interest in mind more than you! Don’t be afraid to speak out, ask questions about kidney disease and be actively involved in your own treatment. If you’re unhappy with your current kidney disease medical team, tell them if you feel your kidney health needs aren’t being met in some way or, if need be, get a new kidney health team that you feel more comfortable with.

If kidney disease treatments and knowing which tests you NEED are of importance to you, then you should definitely subscribe to our newsletter to get the latest in kidney disease and kidney health information delivered right into your inbox:
