Berry Delicious Smoothie

Research shows that all berries are beneficial to our health due to their numerous antioxidants. Oats and walnuts can also lower the chance of heart disease plus it can lower cholesterol. Here is one delicious, easy way to have 3 daily servings of fruit plus good fats and fiber:

¾ cup fresh (or frozen) unsweetened blackberries
¾ cup frozen unsweetened dark cherries
¾ cup fresh (or frozen) unsweetened strawberries
1 T orange zest (or lemon)
3 T pieces of raw walnut
½ cup oat flakes
1 cup water

Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. For frozen fruit add more water.
