A while ago, we posted a video on about soy milk that was fermented with a certain mix of probiotics; Lactobacillus Plantarum which helped people with diabetic kidney issues improve.
Ever since that video aired, we’ve been getting dozens of messages from people saying that they were looking for an alternative to soy milk. Soy milk is a plant-based drink produced by soaking and grinding soybeans, boiling the mixture, and filtering out remaining particulates.
Depending on each individual’s pre-existing conditions, there were a bunch of people who couldn’t consume soy milk and we shared some knowledge and recommended specific different types of milk to use as an alternative to soy milk.
If you’re someone who is looking for another type of milk rather than soy milk, it is important to know that you should still opt to use the probiotic Lactobacillus Plantarum. Generally, you can use any kind of milk to prepare this mix probiotic drink but the ones that are a little easier on the kidneys are – vegan-based milk, rice milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc.
Depending on your preference, you may want to add a little extra sugar on top of it so that those live bacteria; Lactobacillus Plantarum has an adequate amount of food to eat, grow, and ferment. While it continues to do that, higher amounts of those good probiotics show up and you may consume a small amount each day. (6 to 7 oz. per day)
